Hersey was one of the first cows we bought for our foundation herd. We bought her sight unseen from Nebraska based on her bloodlines and don't regret it for an instant. She has a crooked front leg and a bad dehorning job but she throws just phenomenal babies. She is a great dam and babysits all the youngsters on a regular basis. She came to us along with Irene and the two of them shared an entire TT unit riding in style. It took a while to tame her down but now she is quite tame. Not being the picture of beauty that we look for in our Dexters she amazes us at the quality of her calves.., even if they all carry her small ears.
