Did you know that chickens lay various  sizes and colors of eggs depending on the chickens breed and age?

Here at Freedom Farms we raise a huge variety of  chickens.  Most of the breeds we raise would classify as a dual purpose bird (meat and eggs) and on occasion will offer Live Stewing Hens in a addition to our Laying Hens. 

What this means to you is that you will get mixed eggs in every dozen.  Different shades of brown eggs from off-white to near chocolate colored, speckled eggs and even blue and green eggs from our Americauna and Aracauna chickens!

 These chickens vary in age too so we do not grade or size our eggs but try to put somewhat of a variety of eggs in each dozen.  Most are large with some jumbo and a medium put in.  They all taste the same (delicious!) because all of our chickens are simply loose and foraging through grasses and for bugs.

We offer live chickens for your home laying flock, insect control, stew pot or grill as well as pets.
