The term Free-Range is often misrepresented.  Forcing the concerned consumer to ask questions and trust their producers.  Our chicken, at Freedom Farms are raised like chickens used to be raised.  On our farm,  they are completely loose.  They are not in a mass production chicken house or penned on dirt in an overcrowded pen.

And of course, just like all of our meats, they are grown without antibiotics, steroids or added hormones and are humanely treated.  SO they are happy and naturally healthy.  They will adjust to coop living for your backyard situation or will now how to deal with being loose on your farm.  Chickens are far smarter than most people give them credit to be and hens will adjust to new surroundings and learn new routines quickly .

We try to offer a wide variety of breeds of chickens and pre-ordering young pullets (hens that are not yet laying) you may order almost any breed you would like including ornamental breeds, heritage breeds, layers or even meat breeds - we will raise them for you until they are fully feathered and ready for their new homes.
